Matt started at the post office in March of 1999 at the age of 21. He worked at various offices as a PTF for 3 ½ years. Matt became a steward at Multnomah station in 2003. He served as a steward at Multnomah for 10 years. During that time he also worked as acting chief steward, a regional steward, route adjuster and attended National Leadership Academy class 9. Matt was elected and began serving as Secretary-Treasurer in November of 2013.
