National Sets Election Dates

The National union has announced the dates for the upcoming election of national officers.

Ballots will begin being mailed to eligible voters beginning September 28. Any NALC member in good standing as of June 1, 2026 should receive a ballot.

Any member who does not receive a ballot by October 7 should contact the NALC Membership Department to request a replacement ballot. The deadline to request a replacement ballot is 1pm (Pacific) on October 9.

Ballots must be received by noon on October 19 to be counted.

Your ballot will be sent to the address the National union has on file, which may be different than the address the Branch has. If you are not receiving The Postal Record at your current address (or if it has a forward label on it) contact the Membership Department immediately to get your address updated.
